“The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway.”

We did a quick search on VRBO and landed on this cabin given its proximity to Minneapolis (not too far away, not too close) along what we assumed would be a nice, scenic drive. First, let’s talk about the location. Despite living 3.5 hours away for the last 20 years, I……

“We stayed here for our anniversary and left feeling so refreshed and grateful. The cabin is beautiful, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in and slow down. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars and waking up to the peaceful stillness around us—it really felt like a true getaway.Gays Mills is a very small town, so you’re truly stepping away from distractions and into rest, which was exactly what we needed.
