The "Belknap Cabin" - 3 Nt SPECIAL

Riverfront vacation home in Blue River with fireplace
WOW! This nearly new cedar shake cabin is absolutely perfect with the hard wood floors, the knotty pine walls and ceilings, the large classic wood stove, the huge elevated deck with gas grill, the separate private sleeping areas, the fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances and the memories your gatherings will cherish forever!
Belknap Covered Bridge is located just west of the cabin, thus the name.
Enjoy this beautiful gem on the edge of the Willamette National Forest -- known for its multiple natural hot-springs, vast ancient lava flows, old growth forests and endless hiking and mountain biking options. There are several high cascade lakes scattered through the foothills of the Cascade Mountains that surround this Upper Mckenzie River Valley locale.
Look up The Willamette National Forest and you'll find lots of information about the many adventures your group can experience.
We recommend that you make sure you see The Blue Pool, Clear Lake, Sahalie Falls, Koosah Falls, Proxy Falls, Scott Lake and Terwilliger Hot-Springs.
Tokatee Golf Course is minutes close and so are 3 nice restaurants for your dining pleasure. Bring the bikes, because King Rd and Rainbow Dr (Mckenzie River Dr) are wonderful biking roads with minimal slow traffic and huge views of the river and the Three Sisters Mountains to the east.
Feel free to contact Jonathan if you have any questions or need any referrals to services.
Guest accommodations at this vacation home offer fireplaces and hair dryers. Microwaves and coffee/tea makers are provided.

4/5 Good

Lovely River Cabin
Very clean riverfront cabin with a nicely stocked kitchen for cooking. One of us slipped and fell on the front steps due to the densely packed snow over ice (rough trip in with our baggage). Very surprised that the snow and ice were not removed from the front steps and the balcony for a safe entry into the home and for use of the BBQ/River View. This should be a mandatory "hospitality" curtesy. Otherwise, this little cabin was very charming.

Wonderful cozy home
What a great place to spend a few days in the snow. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. The wood burning stove was great. Best of all were the wonderful views and window seats. Jonathan was very quick to reply to questions. Look forward to staying again.

Over The River and Through The Woods…..
We will definitely go again! Location is wonderful! On the river and close to the Belknap Covered Bridge that was lit up with Christmas lights. The home is beautiful, warm and cozy with the sound of the raging river. The kitchen was well equipped and the McKenzie Market was close if you needed something. We tried out all 3 of the neighboring restaurants and enjoyed them very much. I would love to go back in the Summer to enjoy the screened in porch. But this trip we drove a short ways and enjoyed some snow. It was a perfect getaway. Thank you Jonathon and Lisa
