Belknap House on the McKenzie River

Belknap House on the McKenzie River

8/10 Good
"This is a large property and overall was clean but the house is dated and showing signs of wear. Deck and kitchen were huge and well stocked. We spent most of our time on the deck and screened porch which were very nice. Had to register for 5 people to get access to the bed on the screened porch but actually only 3 people stayed at the property. This choice made it significantly more expensive. It was a very comfortable place to gather for my Grandson’s baptism for all the family members who attended. The path to the river was steep and partly washed away so we held the ceremony at the other Grandparents rental that had better access to the river. We also had a little field mouse that visited us in the kitchen when I first arrived. Host was responsive when he was notified."

McKenzie Bridge River's Edge Retreat, a cozy cabin on over two acres

10/10 Excellent
"A very secluded property that is right on the McKenzie River. So relaxing. Views were great and the sound of the water going over the rapids was extremely soothing. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a binder that gave lots of information about the area. The Sahalie and Kanoosha Falls were very close and an amazing little hike. There were a few condiments and other items in the kitchen that came in handy when preparing a meal. So glad those items were available since there is only a little market the next town over. The market offers a lot to get you by and there are a few decent restaurants in the area as well. Beds were super comfortable. Everyone slept well.Thank you for the great stay."

The North Bank Cabin,100ft private McKenzie Riverfront, Grill, 20min to Falls

10/10 Excellent
"The forest and river were unbelievably beautiful with the sound of rushing water reaching the deck through the surrounding trees. The cottage holds its 1930s rustic feel and charm, and combined with new decking and bathroom it made for a comfortable stay. Host was very responsive and came right over when we needed battery replacements and another small fix for stove settings. It was just the right size for four people to spend a couple of nights near the McKenzie River waterfalls during a statewide road trip. Our two teens said the twin beds in the loft were quite cozy."

Mckenzie River Cabin 20 - Log Cabin Inn - Willamette National Forest

8/10 Good
"If you’re looking for a centered hub to get to the beautiful blue hole, proxy falls, sahalie Falls, koosah Falls or to clear Lake, this is a lovely and clean home to stay in. Screened in back deck that faces the river and was my favorite spot to be in while not hiking outdoors. Beds are VERY firm. Kitchen is well supplied with pots, pants and dishes but you will need to bring food items from home or shop for meals. They have basics for salt, pepper, and other seasonings. Hosts are private and communication quick which can be appreciated as they are not overbearing. Road noise is a bit of a problem if your windows are open in the evenings and at night for fresh air as this lovely cabin is right against the McKenzie Hwy. We would recommend this rental to friends and family."
