“I am extremely satisfied with my stay at El Navegante Hotel in Bayahibe! Check in process was easy. 24 hours before my expected arrival I sent the host a message through the expedia app and she responded with my room number and lock code to enter the room. I found the code lock to be extremely handy so I didn't have to worry about losing a key or key card while at the beach.

“The hotel was beautiful pools were lovely food was great I was not happy that the buffet was not open at night for dinner especially when one of the 4 restaurants was closed each night making it hard to get a reservation. “This boutique hotel is more than awesome. It has a genuine feel of being in a private home. Jonelle (the property manager, host, coordinator etc) could not have possibly been more accommodating, friendly and overall full of life and was just pure excellence. His assistant, (sorry I don't know his name) was also amazing. The property is very beautiful and unique and we highly recommend it.”

“We have stayed at other Secrets Resorts which we loved and expected the same experience. However, we were very disappointed with several things. The drinks at the pool were awful and the staff could have been more friendly. Even the inside bars and restaurants did not know how to make a simple cocktail. The entertainment could use improvement, we only noticed a couple of exercise classes in the pool and a couple of dance lessons during our 5 night stay. All of the activities, music by the pool,……
