There was five restaurants to choose aside from the buffet. They always had activities happening. They had activities for the kids too. They also had shows at night. Wish there were more food options with beef. The staff was nice and helpful.

They kept the property clean. Staff was very nice. Food was ok you could always find something to eat you should never go hungry. They did run out of beer and some alcohol 3 nights but had it during the day

This resort was by far the cleanest place I’ve stayed at thus far. The staff was the sweetest and our concierge Ricardo went above and beyond to ensure that our daughter’s 21st bday trip was absolutely amazing. We would definitely recommend this resort and plan to return ourselves.

We absolutely love this hotel! Not only is our stay always very pleasant here, but the grounds are beautifully kept, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the options for food are fantastic. We also had a lovely experience this time with Ricardo who guided us with our check in and out process, got us the room building we requested, checked on us at our dinner reservations (that he made for us) and made sure our taxi to the airport was ready for us! Not only was the Occidental stay amazing, but the Expedia experience was top notch! See you in 2027!

I feel like the breakfast buffet was lacking in variety. The hot food could have been warmer. The lunch a dinner buffet was better. We tried all of the restaurants except the Asian one because we ran out of time. The Italian and steakhouse were our favorites. The seafood restaurant lacks variety and quality. The late night pizza and taco spots were great! We loved the daily entertainment and the walk ability of the resort.

Lovely property, showing a little age, but I went for a beach vacation. I don’t go to spend time in the room. Bed was comfy, I loved the pillows. No washcloths! Wonderful staff, food was good, although repeated choices. Beach area was beautiful, need to replace some loungers. Shops in resort were pretty much all the same merchandise. I’d go again!

The facility is nice and clean. Room service is reliable and does a good job. The beach was wonderful. The food was unfortunately, not up to par. We were in building 10, which was very close to the restaurants and the big pool but also very loud music until 11pm each night and a bright spotlight shining on our room. We made the best out of our trip, but will not be back to this resort, mostly because of the food.
