“The room was in good condition, although the glasses were dirty and the bathroom is tiny. The door prevents two people from using the bathroom at the same time. The afternoon we arrived, both the internet and the TV stopped working. When we mentioned it to the front desk the next day, they told us they were already aware of the issue and would try to fix it (they didn’t bother to let the guests know there were service problems). Also, the restaurant was closed (they never explained why), and……

“This was a very small boutique hotel located right on one of the old streets in the city. Parking was not available on the very narrow street so we had to park a few blocks away. It is very close to walk to the waterfront and downtown area. We did not receive our check-in information. So when we arrived and rang the bell no one was there even though it was only about 5:00 p.m. . Luckily one of our phones was enabled to make calls, we were able to contact them to get the code for the door……

“We stayed in the Royal Suite which was very clean snd spacious with a wonderful large balcony. The swimming pool and outdoor spaces were well maintained and clean. The breakfast was fine, although the hot choices were very limited. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the centre of Coimbra in a nice quiet area. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Ons verblijf (6nachten) is erg goed bevallen. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en denken graag met je mee als je iets in de buurt wilt ondernemen. Het verblijf is schoon en goed onderhouden. Slechts 2 jaar geleden totaal gerenoveerd. Er is een heerlijk zoutwater zwembad en een riant dakterras. Iedere dag een lekker ontbijt in de tuin met een huisgemaakte cake of iets anders lekkers en een Pastel de nata. Een auto is wel noodzakelijk! Aanrader om te bezoeken daar in de buurt zijn Aveiro, Coimbra……
