We stayed in a Lieutenant lodge for 2 nights with young kids. Spacious cabin, very quiet property that the kids loved exploring (we used the free fishing pole rental for a quick trip to their pond), few other guests while we were there. It was great!

The area was perfect for all your Gettysburg experiences but the pool area did not look like it's pictures it was run down and also there were so many kids there that we couldn't even get into the pool the parents let the children run around like wild animals other guests I am sure had a hard time enjoying the experience going on

I loved the history of the buildings & Gettysburg in general. The room was clean & decorated very historically & nicely. The staff was friendly.
I've stayed at B&B's before. When I book a bed & breakfast, I expect a bed & breakfast. Not a bed with bfast costing $18.00 extra. The B&B is in two different buildings, that's cool. But if you stay in the Welty house you have to litterly walk next door to access refrig or microwave. TV is in a bad spot. Worst of all is the parking. The walk from the house to the parking lot is up a very steep hill. Not good for old folks or those with handicap issues. My wife is handicap & did fall walking down the steep hill. Nope Brickhouse Inn, we will not be staying there again. Hope this was helpful.
