“This property has a great location. It is atop a hill, so you have a great view of the mountains and the surrounding valley. A great view of the castle rock for which the town is named. If concerned about safety, the CHP yard is directly behind the hotel. Overall, a great location in my opinion.”
“The photos are deceiving because there is a photo of a hot tub and there is no hot tub. This is part of why we booked this hotel. The breakfast was good. Overall the stay was fine.”
“If you are just looking for a clean place to stay the night that is pet friendly then this place serves well. Older building but kept up. Friendly check in by Darla. I will likely return when passing through again.”
“Great room and very clean and comfortable! Great breakfast included. We did discover that most restaurants in Dodge City are closed on Sunday. Mostly fast food and Mexican Restaurants are open. We were looking for a good steak dinner and settled for steak fajitas! Not the hotels fault though!! We would definitely stay here again!”
“My room was on the 2nd floor, no elevator the owner's wife had to help me bring my bags up. The stairs were so steep, she said to just call in am and someone would help me carry my bags back down, but no one answered at 7am and the night bell was on. So I took my time, 1 step at a time. This is a basic hotel for construction workers, no coffee, no breakfast. Blah!”
“The air was cold, and the bed old but OK. Decent location on the main drag. The sink was plugged, no tissues, tub rotted. And, the toilet blocked the bathroom door so it could not close! OK in a budget pinch, but it wasn’t that cheap.”
