This glass and steel pergola sits over two spigots of the famous Borjomi natural spring water.

Discovered thousands of years ago, but popularized during the Russian imperial period, the mineral waters of Borjomi became renowned for their healing qualities.

Russian figures such as Chekhov and Tchaikovsky visited Borjomi to relax in sanatoriums and drink the water.  During the Soviet period, bottled Borjomi water became one of the Soviet Union's chief exports.

If you travel to Borjomi, you can visit a central park and drink the warm water as it drips out of a spigot.  You travel to this area, descend some steps, and fill your cups or bottles with the water.

“Host (Sukhan) was the best. Always smiling and helpful. Check-in was quick, excellent breakfast. Clean and spacious rooms. We visited Rabati palace, Green Monastry and Bakuriani, Sukhan arranged for our transport and also coordinated with the drivers on our behalf. We never felt that we are in a different country, it felt like family with love and lot of warmth. Thank you Sukhan for being such a fabulous host, looking forward to coming down again in the future.
