It was very close to where we needed be on a snowy day. It was not in a commercial area, a little off the beaten path, but still easily accessible.
This isn't a fancy place but it's clean and quiet (because it's not close to a busy highway), has in-room coffee, fridge, and microwave (but doesn't have separate shampoo and conditioner; just the 2-in-1 "conditioning shampoo"), a very friendly proprietor, and a hot tub that hasn't been shut down because of fear of Covid.
And if you're a runner, you'll love all the pictures on the wall of the elite runners who have apparently stayed here to train or to compete in the Boulder Bolder.
I would stay here again.
Nice room with a view of the colorful fall leaves. The couch, mini kitchenette and work area were nice. The breakfast was very good. The place was conveniently located
Not very nice. Scared to stay there alone the first night so I went to a friends VBRO. My husband arrived the second night and could not believe the conditions. The marijuana smoking guests at the front door each day really negatively effected the experience. The bathroom sink is outside the toilet area and in the kitchen which is awkward. Gentlemen at the front desk was very nice but I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere!
This place was quaint and fit our needs. There was a distinct smell that I couldn't figure out. My family has allergies so we just opened the windows. There was a beautiful yellow aspen outside the window. We had breakfast plans every morning so I didn't check out the breakfast. There is a pretty walking path by the hotel. It is in a quiet neighborhood. My son goes to CU and it was a 9 minute drive to his house, but it feels further away because it is quiet and calm which we liked.
