“Property was very nice. A few things needed upgrades. The grill was rusty and we couldn’t use it. The bathtub needed a grab bar. The treads to the dock were very slippery when wet because of mold. And a couple of treads leading down to dock were loose. We enjoyed boating and fishing was great. It was also nice to have boat ramp so close to cottage and our boat right on our dock. ”

“Communication with Property Owner was excellent. This cute little cottage has been renovated and has a nice feel indoors. There is a beautiful porch on the back with a lovely view. The unit includes a mini fridge and mini microwave along with a little table and two chairs. If you have long hair, water pressure could be a concern. My shower worked great but the sink water pressure was not strong. The bed was comfortable and the decor was nice. The air conditioning works fine.”

“Very much enjoyed the treehouse feeling of this cool place -- we had excellent July weather during our short stay; this was one of the places we stayed in on a two-week jaunt up and down the coast. Cool breezes, warm lake, very peaceful. The place is perfect for a couple or one family with a few kids. Has the added cachet of having been on an episode of "Maine Cabin Masters" some years back -- if you know, you know. Not luxurious, but that's not the point of a good summer camp! We loved it.”

“We had a lovely stay. Very comfortable king size bed with plenty of good pillows. Shower had wonderful pressure! Kitchen well equipped. Quiet and view over lake serene. “This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun……

“I had an enjoyable stay at this nicely appointed lakeside cabin. As a fisherman it was great to have my boat on the dock just steps way from the porch door. The cabin was immaculate with updated kitchen appliances. I particularly enjoyed evenings around the fire pit watching the boats maneuvering around the marina.”

"The room was clean and tidy, and it was very convenient to go to the university and surrounding shops and restaurants. The only regret was that the room was booked the day before, and the price was doubled compared to booking in advance. It is recommended that you book the room in advance, the price is really different."
