"The day of our arrival there was no communication with property owner . When we arrived he was there . He said he had messaged me with checkin instructions but I still do not have any messages . We knew that the property was going to be basically a shed with a portapotty and an outside shower . Entered the shed which was very basic . Bedding was clean and there was clean towels . "Great quiet spot to kickback and relax. Perfect for what we were looking for. River access to the lake (about 50 min in the kayak) but the lake is a driving distance away, which is the only drawback having to load up little kids. The beds were a little firm is my only complaint. We had a blast and the kids lived in the river. Thanks for wonderful memories!"

"I like the vibe huttopia is going for and it’s an absolute family friendly gem, however our hit carpet was extremely dirty, the door didn’t close off completely which let inall the bugs overnight , our tent also had an area the zipper was completely broken which gave more room for allCreatures to comeIn. I stuffed it with a towel to make due . The lighting paths could be better to the huts at night. Love the vibe and what they tried to do , but we will not be going back. "

"The house is spotless and well appointed with lots of room for everyone. We really appreciated the a/c and laundry. We spent lots of time by the lake, but when thunderstorms rolled through, the roomy screened porches were a wonderful bonus. The hosts were thoughtful and generous. We look forward to staying again next year!"

"This property was super convenient to walking to Downtown Bar Harbor. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable and the staff were super pleasant and helpful! They offered a daily grab and go breakfast consisting of great pastries (better than your average hotel pastry), coffee, fruit and a selection of high quality protein bars….bottled water and juice also. They also had a stocked refrigerator in the lobby that offered cans of soda for ONLY $1…which is a steal in a resort area! You won’t regret staying here…will definitely stay here again if we return to Bar Harbor ❤️"
