“Room was very clean, comfortable beds with clean sheets. Room tastefully decorated and still pet friendly. Easy access location being right on the highway. ”

“Fan in 2nd bedroom rattled and we did not use it. Shower door missing and poorly hung shower curtain messy. No luggage racks upstairs or downstairs or any benches for bags. Only a two seater sofa in front of the TV when it is a family apartment for 6 people. Secure parking on site but well away from this unit 2, which is right on the street and we had disturbance in the early hours from drunks on the footpath outside probably when the close by tavern closed. Not our best experience, but the pool……

This motel is surprisingly modern and well-presented, especially considering the price — easily one of the best value stays I’ve come across while travelling long distances. I used it twice so far as a quick overnight stop during a long drive, only for a few hours of sleep, and it was perfect for that purpose — convenient, comfortable. However, not quite on the Bruce Highway - you need to drive extra km but it is well worth the effort. I checked in after hours, and……

“Room very average, all cutlery dirty, many ants in the tea/coffee given and room had a musty smell. Bed was just two singles pushed together with a very hard centre, not a king bed, only one small pillow given and was loud outside all night. ”
