Black Mountain Inn

2.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (443)
"This stay was affordable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful! They recommended a great pub for dinner and it was excellent! It seems like updating was a work in progress. The important areas were clean (bed and bath) and the bed was very comfy but the room didn’t smell fresh and clean and it’s appearance seemed run down. We didn’t travel with
pets
but it was a very
pet friendly
place! "

Latchis Hotel

2.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (756)
"This property, an old deco building and is in a great location for exploring downtown Brattleboro. The rooms themselves vary from pretty nice to quite dark and unwelcoming, the latter being those that face an air shaft instead of a proper exterior view. The staff are incredibly helpful and were able to get us upgraded to an outside room when we raised concerns about being in an air shaft room. The cleaning staff is extremely friendly and this is a
pet friendly
hotel and they were all very warm...
