Road noise at night is obnoxious but we were near the front. The photos make it look perfect but it’s not. The area around is kinda sketchy but it is Jaco Beach. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and the main strip. The staff was the best part of the property. They were super friendly and the activities director was amazing. I would stay at this property again given the cost we paid vs other name brand hotels / properties. Overall I enjoyed our stay but it was because of the people that worked there. The beach feels private and you can enjoy the wildlife anywhere you go. Highly recommend for adults and kids. If you’re booking through Expedia and get round-trip transportation, I recommend that you touch base with the company a day or two before you travel back to the airport just to check in so they know your pick up time. They sit next to the main stage in the morning. We saw a sloth, toucans, peccaries, snakes, and lots of other birds. Our guide, Chris, was very informative.
