"Is the manager and staff are very nice and helpful. I love the very unique decorating. The indoor outdoor pool is nice and not freezing cold like a lot of places. If you come here, you have to check out the plane in the yard. And the games upstairs. The pool table is very old, but it still works just fine. Plus there is a ping pong table and foozeball. Love this place."
Serenity awaits at this secluded riverfront property
10/10 Excellent
"Communication with Holly was professional and timely. The checkin instructions and local guide had a lot of great information. Property was well priced, but the privacy and seclusion was priceless! Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. We’d come back for sure."
"Recently updated, comfortable bed, coffee in lobby, friendly and helpful staff. Paper thin walls. Noisy ice machine outside our room. Had a nice, vintage vibe."
Private Isle-side, Waterfront Retreat with Stunning Views/Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed kayaking on lake and looking for turtles from the deck in the evenings. There was plenty of comfortable deck furniture, and my mother even had me look into ordering the lower patio lounge chairs for her at home. The kitchen had everything we need for meals. The ping pong table and games were fun and I now have to get the monopoly deal card game for at home as well. The wall A/C unit worked great and even with temps in the 90s we all slept great. The bedding was very soft and there were a bunch of comfortable throws around the house if you ever got the chills. My brother's dog loved the place (city apartment dog) and enjoyed his first campfire. The beach just down the road at the campsite was nice as well and had life vests for borrowing. My uncle was jealous that he didn't come with when we told him about the larger fish we saw jumping in the lake. There were also plenty of birds if you like bird watching. We went to see House on the Rock, Taliesin (ages 8 only) and went tubing down the Wisconsin River (dogs need to be in canoes if using Wisconsin Riverside Resort). Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and even though there are neighbors, we couldn't see (trees) or hear anyone else from the deck and so it felt very private."
"Hilltop Hideaway had the perfect balance of seclusion and access to activities. The cabin was cozy yet spacious and the property was very well kept. I would gladly return for a longer stay. SO worth it!"
Stunning, serene, rustic house in the woods near Spring Green, Wisconsin
8/10 Good
"We came here to get away from Chicago fireworks over the 4th. While it was definitely quieter than the City, we did hear fireworks on the 3rd and 4th in the distance. It’s a cute space, but not exactly what I was expecting. Everything is just a little more weathered and aged than in the photos. The driveway is shared for the a house that sits on the top of the hill that this house is next to - only saw a car drive by a few times - so not exactly heavy traffic.Only 25 mins from Governor Dodge State Park which was great. It was extremely hot while we stayed (104*), but the AC and big ceiling fan did an amazing job."
Relax with beautiful views overlooking the Wisconsin River
10/10 Excellent
"The property was nice, clean and very bright. We enjoyed playing bags in the garage, as it rained most of our visit. Be aware it is located on a very busy road, but leashes on the dogs worked well. Would recommend."
