"The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"

"We loved the feeling of this place, as soon as we drove up the driveway. Everything about it was beautiful and I actually cried on the day we had to leave..... The accommodation was perfect for the three of us, me, my Husband and our Hungarian Vizsla, Hudson. We enjoyed the pool, walks around the stunning grounds, the views, the river access...... We even stayed an extra night, of which the hosts were great! We'll be re-booking again soon. So glad we found this unique little sanctuary of peace...

"We had a wonderful week in the gite. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We were looking for a relaxing week away to unwind and could not have picked a better place. The weather was warm enough for us to use the pool a few times which was clean and welcoming. We used the garden/patio area everyday which was also clean, tidy and comfortable. "The hotel is located by the main shopping estate in the area, not exactly in Cognac but easy enough to drive into Cognac on one straight road. Wifi is not very well connected. I used it in the common dining area. Breakfast is fine. Parking is ample. Communal kettle by the entrance did not go down well for me. I have to fetch water from my room to fill the kettle and boil it in the public area. Not great value for money but is acceptable and adequate for a stopover."
