“Photos give a very different impression to the reality. Building is very tired and was locked when we arrived early afternoon. Room was extremely small, with a very tiny en-suite. No curtains only blinds on the window meant that we were woken early by the early morning sun. Property is on a very busy, noisy road.”

“Very old and dated room.
The mattresses need to be updated as I slept with springs in my back all night.
The windows opened fully on the first floor. This would be a hazard if you were travelling with small children.
The bathroom lacked anywhere to hang your towels and really could have done with a clean.
Good location and the bar downstairs was lovely with pool tables and darts.”

“Really nice b&b in an historic and interesting house.
Host was really friendly and breakfasts were really good.
Large bedroom, plenty of space for clothes.
Right opposite the Abbey and near local amenities.
Would certainly return.”

“The drain in the bath room was clogged, so the water wouldn’t go down. There was no door for the bath room and toiler and the bed was only 70mm wide. But the hotel is very close to train station and the staffs are kind.”
