Welcome to the Farmer's Inn

  • Farmer's Inn is a Fantastic Newly Furnished Four Bedroom, Two Bathroom Vacation Rental on the eastern border of Glacier National Park. There are Granite Counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen. There is Air-Conditioning and Wi-Fi internet. There are TV's in the bedrooms and a 42 inch TV in the Living-Room. Cable is provided along with Blue Ray and the latest movies. There is a Combo Washer and Dryer in the house. Luscious Shower Gels, Lotions, Shampoo, and Soaps provided. There are also bath sheet towels, hair dryer, ironing board and I-Pod docking stations. Two large bedrooms have queen beds and the other bedrooms have full beds. There is a large parking area in the back of the house for boats, motor homes and bikes. The entrance to Glacier National Park is only 12 miles away and the famous Going-to-the Sun Highway is only 30 miles away. Farmer’s Inn makes a great base-camp for excursions into the pristine Glacier National Park wilderness.

    We offer the convenience of being near Browning with access to Glacier Peaks Indian Casino, Native American Bank, ATM’s, Town Pump, Subway, Taco John’s, IGA grocery store, Plains Indian Museum, Blackfeet Heritage Art Gallery, and Post Office, but still close enough to Glacier and all the other wonderful activities and attractions. We are only two blocks away from the Glenn Heavy Runner Memorial All-Season Swimming Pool with Olympic size swimming pool, hot tub, saunas, and weight room. We are within walking distance of the new Glacier Family Foods/Super One store.

    We offer newly furnished, comfortable, affordable lodging, just minutes away from the best views, fishing, hiking and lots more. Whether you are whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing the renowned Blackfeet Reservation lakes or in Glacier Park, summiting the surrounding peaks, hiking the picturesque Glacier Park 1000 miles of trails, horseback riding, attending the North American Indian Day Pow Wow in Browning, golfing, sightseeing on the scenic Going to the sun Road or hiking tribal lands, you can be certain that an adventure awaits you in Big Sky Country. No matter where the events of the day may lead you, there is always your home away from home awaiting your return.

This was a convenient place to stay for visiting East side of Glacier National Park (about an hour). Three bedrooms & 2 baths convenient for group of 6 (tho one bath was quite small). The hosts met us upon arrival and surprised on 2 nights with delicious home baked goodies! Also had use of bear spray (called & she brought it over).

We stayed two nights with a group of nine friends while visiting Glacier National Park. Our experience had both bright spots and a few concerns, so I'll share both. The good: The host was very accommodating with a last minute change to our plans. The hosts also waited up to greet us when we arrived late and gave us helpful instructions. The cookies the next morning were a sweet touch. The concerns: When we returned that night, we realized someone had entered the house while we were out and a few things had been changed. Advance notice would have made us much more comfortable, as privacy matters when staying in a rental. Later, as we left around 11:30 p.m. to go stargazing, the hosts came to our cars, shone flashlights at us, and questioned whether we'd been drinking or partying. We hadn't, and it felt unsettling. Things were back to normal by checkout, and we're grateful for the hospitality. With clearer communication about entry and boundaries, this could be a great stay.

Absolutely fantastic

We had a great stay and were able to see friends and family in the area. It is so close to Glacier National Park allowing us to easily visit. We had a blast playing the Wii and enjoying sitting on the porch. The hosts are very friendly.

WE enjoyed our stay at Farmers Inn. Not far from the east entrance of GNP, and close to shopping and the Plains Indian Museum.

Worked out well for visiting multiple entry points of Glacier National Park. Cozy home, well stocked kitchen and Deb was quick to respond to any questions and overall a fantastic host.

This was our second visit to glacier and both times we booked at the farmer inn.The place is clean and the owners are very friendly. I will book here again if we come back for a third time. The location is perfect for the east side of glacier and two medicine, many glacier is a little further away but still very doable from browning.Highly recommend staying at the farmers inn

Great house and great location

We loved the house and the location to Glacier east side. Super clean and well stocked house and we loved the personal touch of fresh baked banana bread! We hiked the east side of glacier and was super easy to get to the entrances. We loved everything about our stay.

A really nice house!

The location was perfect for us. The house had plenty of space, and was very clean. The hosts were friendly and kind. The fresh baked banana bread made us feel so very welcome. I would highly recommend this rental!

Gracious hosts with well maintained property near Glacier

Charles and Debbie were gracious hosts. We enjoyed our stay and visit to the area. We very much appreciated the brownies and cookies that Debbie baked as well as the housekeeping services. The property is well maintained and relatively close to Glacier National Park entrances (30 minutes to Two Medicine, 41 minutes to St. Mary, and 48 minutest East Glacier) and Waterton National Park in Canada (80 minute).

Great place, great host

Everything the advertisement listed and more! Upon arrival we were greeted by Mrs. Farmer, who was exceptionally nice and welcoming. We entered to find an arrangement of fresh cut flowers on the dining table and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies on our last day. Spoiled us to say the least. Great place to stay!

Great Hosts

We stayed 5 nights at the Farmer’s Inn! The house was very comfortable. The owner was amazing! The owner provided us with fresh banana bread one day and cookies another day. The house was very clean and well appointed. The location was convenient to the east side entrances to Glacier NP. Five stars to Debbie!

Home has everything you could want.

We had five in our group and the home was perfect for us. We so appreciated the washer/dryer as well as well nicely stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The home was spotless. The Wi-fi can be spotty at night, but it was a nice benefit after hiking all day with no outside connection to the world. Debbie and Charles were the perfect hosts!

Beautiful home, very friending hosts

This place was very clean & property very well kept. Debbie & Charles are very friendly & generous. The extra beauty supplies & toiletries were very generous. There was a bunch of flowers to welcome us on the kitchen table & then a plate of homemade cookies to say thank you & goodbye! The location was perfect for our 2 day journey into Glacier National Park.

This is by far the best stays during our two weeks’ trip. The host Debbie is super friendly. The condition is mint and very comfortable. Noting to beat 4 bedrooms and two baths to spread out the family. During the early season most of Glacier National Park is on the east side and this location is so convenient to major east side attractions and not bad to the west side. Definitely would stay again if we revisit the park.

The home was perfect for our group

We enjoyed staying on the Browning side of Glacier with our four teens. This was an opportunity for them to experience a different part of the USA, Native American culture and beauty of the land surrounding Glacier. We were able to see a less crowded and beautiful area surrounding Glacier. We were very close to the grocery store, gas station and enjoyed a wonderful meal with authentic fry bread at Bobbie Jo’s. The home was pristine clean, had everything we needed for comfort and the hosts were very helpful and kind. She suggested we stop into the trading post which was a neat stop. We hope to return one day!
