“We were put in a separate building across the street from the main St Mary Lodge. The condition was quite run down. The decor is rustic and nice, the bed is comfortable, the towels were great, it was clean, but the room is quite tiny and cramped. The good news is that we parked our vehicle right outside our room. The bad news is that the room has a high step to enter (maybe 10 inches high) and could be a hazard when exiting if you didn't remember to step down. The concrete sidewalk is……

“Clean room, once we found it. You check in at the local store, then go 2 blocks to the hotel. Our room was not with the others, but inside the next building. Didn’t quite get that info when we picked up the key. Ran back to the store and got it straightened out. It was a quaint, clean room. We enjoyed the stay.”

“Very cool and historic. Staff friendly. Great porches and tables for games in main lobby area. Great musicians in the lobby in the evening. Just be aware it is of the era. No mini fridge or micro. No elevator, so you carry everything up the stairs. Part of the charm, yes. A coffee maker in the room would have been a giant upgrade, instead of charging over $5 for it. Pack your French Press and enjoy the gardens.”

“The Glacier Alpine lodge tiny homes are part of a complex that includes a really good coffee shop and outdoor guide / gear rental company, which were very convenient. Serrano’s Mexican Restaurant down the street was really good. The cabins are also only ~10min from Browning, which has a couple good grocery stores and other restaurants and services. Our lodge (Dancing Lady Retreat) had two very nice sleeping lofts and a futon which comfortably slept 4 (could have done 5 since the futon is a……
