“Beautiful home right on beautiful lake Superior. Perfect location to explore the porcupine mountains. House had EVERYTHING we needed to make some great memories and Christle was a great host. We will definetly be back one day soon. ”

“Three couples trailered our side-by-sides 9 hours to stay for 6 days of fun. Weather didn’t cooperate as much as we’d like but we still had a good time. Minor issues on the property requires some attention…but nothing major. This is a beautiful and comfortable home. The owners are extremely responsive with any/all questions. We are looking forward to booking again for next year.”

The property and facilities are breathtaking.Big Portage Lake is a beautiful lake with crystal clear water.Close to hiking, ATV / UTV, biking trail and several waterfalls in the UP within an hour.Highly recommend this property, especially for larger groups.We are already planning our next stay at Redstone.”

“This was our second time staying and we loved it just as much. The house is so thoughtfully designed and comfortable. It is clean with all the amenities needed. We love walking along the sandy beach, meals on the deck, and enjoying fires and stargazing by the lake. The house is convenient for the Porkies, waterfalls, and other sights in the area. We were sad to leave and hope to visit again!”

“Our second year staying here. We love it!!! The backyard is surrounded by trees and feels very private. There's a small charcoal grill, firepit, and comfy outdoor lounge chairs. The house is great with comfy sofas in the living room, kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make breakfast/lunch/dinner, or there are suggestions and menus for places to eat nearby in the welcome binder. So thoughtful. Erin, the host, is friendly and super responsive. It's a great rental. Highly recommend ”

“Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.”

“Very cozy place. Loved the hot tub, loved cooking on the grill! Stocked kitchen all you have to do is bring your own food. We brought our family pet dog with us and he loved being welcome. Definitely will be visiting again in the future!”
