“Three couples trailered our side-by-sides 9 hours to stay for 6 days of fun. Weather didn’t cooperate as much as we’d like but we still had a good time. Minor issues on the property requires some attention…but nothing major. This is a beautiful and comfortable home. The owners are extremely responsive with any/all questions. We are looking forward to booking again for next year.”

“Great little house for 2 couples. So close to the trail and gas for our SxS trip. Had plenty of parking area for our truck and trailer, we even got to see the northern lights! Sandy was great with communicating we would definitely stay again!”

The property and facilities are breathtaking.Big Portage Lake is a beautiful lake with crystal clear water.Close to hiking, ATV / UTV, biking trail and several waterfalls in the UP within an hour.Highly recommend this property, especially for larger groups.We are already planning our next stay at Redstone.”

“Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.”

“We had a great stay. It was the perfect location for our needs. The house is laid out nicely and had exactly what we needed. Even saw a few deer. ”

“Lovely house set in a large grassy yard (perfect for badminton, ghosts in the graveyard or just running around) and fronting onto a lovely quiet lake great for swimming and kayaking (house has a couple kayaks to borrow). The house shares a sandy beach and dock with an adjacent rental, perfect for kids and adults. We had two families staying including 3 adult kids, one teenager, and the set up worked out very well. We'd love to come back next year. ”

“We enjoyed our stay here. Check in was a breeze and there was plenty of room for us and two other couples. Kitchen was stocked with anything we could possibly need. Ashley was quick to respond when there was an issue with the tv and it was resolved within 15 minutes. She was also excellent at sharing advice about the area and was able to provide some local recommendations for rock hounding! We would definitely stay here again if in the area.”
