OMGPosted Dec 13, 2016 on Hotels
This place is amazing. Whatever you see in the pictures can't even do it justice. This is essentially a luxury apartment in the heart of Bruge. It's honestly the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in hands down. Nothing else even comes close. It's also above a great cafe and right at the heart of the Bruge Christmas village. If you can get this room, lucky you.

One of the nicest and most luxurious hotel rooms I have stayed in. Location was ideal. Only negative is that the B&B is over a restaurant and there is very little contact between guests and the staff. No one showed us to our room and explained how to work all the gadgets. Still a fantastic stay.

Great location.Posted Oct 16, 2015 on Hotels
Loved the location and the old, historic rooms. However, nothing was as posted on their website. There were no robes in the room, no continental breakfast, no hotel staff, no service to the room (ie, fresh towels, room cleaned, etc.). No one showed the room to us....couldn't find the light switches and when we did over half of the lights were burned out and we could not even see to get into our suitcases. No one there to assist. An electrician came the next day but said sorry, that's not what he was there for. Although reservations were made months in advance the person in the restaurant said no one told him we would be checking in. After much confusion and some phone calls we were checked in. I would stay again because it was beautiful and a wonderful location but many people would be upset at the lack of service.

A medieval fantasyPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: The location and the unusual decor
Location: Everything in Bruges is within walking distance
Beautifully appointed room, with leaded windows looking out on the Market Square. Delightful space, modernized but still rich in ambience.

Brilliant room, Brilliant location.Posted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: Spacious room, lovely décor and iconic views of the centre of Bruges.
Location: Look on trip advisor and lonely planet etc to find the best eateries/bars the ones on the main square are overpriced and poor quality.
Perfect central location. The hotel could almost offer out the room we stayed in (room 3) as a self catering apartment as it has an oven/hob and fridge. Staff were friendly enough, a special mention must go to the lovely lady who met us and took us up to the room. The hotel closes its restaurant side on days that coincide with football, so we had to ring a number before being met, however this was almost instant. Don't be surprised when your bill is slightly more than expected, due to the tourist tax in Bruges. Its only about 2 euros per person per night, but unexpected nonetheless.

Perfect location in the heart of BrugesPosted Jul 21, 2015
Be careful when booking as breakfast despite being in the name is NOT included in the price, there doesn't seem to be anything that suggests it's not included so it is mid-leading to have this in the title

Fairytale in BrugesPosted Jul 12, 2015 on Hotels
We loved this fairytale setting. The room was on the first floor and huge with two chandeliers. It has a wall of mullioned windows that overlook the market. It is very exciting. The people in the restaurant below were very friendly and helpful. There was no interaction with anyone else so independent travelers would really enjoy this unique accommodation. The room was freshened by the housekeeping staff while we were out. All in all Bruges was fantastic and this place did not disappoint.
