“The owners were very kind and welcoming. My luggage was late in arriving so I was able to borrow a rain jacket from the owner. She was also helpful with driving guests to the local bus stop and area restaurants, rather than having them walk 10-15 minutes.”

“I never had of Newcastle West before, but if you are ever in this town, this is the place to be. My wife considered the breakfast "the best Irish breakfast in Ireland," and who am I to disagree? We truly enjoyed our stay (and the breakfast) as well the friendly staff including (especially Derek the manager). We need disability-friendly accommodations, and this hotel, in this regard, was a great place to stay. The true test of any hotel, is "Would you go back?," and we would gladly come back……

“The hotel did not have an elevator. The hotel also had a fabulous vintage charm and vibe about it. It was beautiful and the whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The location is decent.”

“The staff where all so friendly, polite and bubbly. I can't remember the young girls name that worked in the garden bar of an evening but she was the nicest person I met through out our stay in the hotel. She is a credit to the hotel and other staff members. We did find the room was very small and extremely hot. There was a fan provided to help but unfortunately it was of no use as it was only circulating hot air, the window is only allowed to be opened a few inches. I did ask to have the……
