We arrived late in the evening and were thankfully only staying one night or we would have had to find another place. Anytime any water source was turned on there was an overwhelming sulfur smell that permeated the entire place. The water had a noticeable brown tinge to it. We could not drink the water, cook with the water, or bathe without smelling like rotten eggs. It was really unfortunate. This will typically only occur when there's a significant bacterial overgrowth in the water heater and subsequent plumbing. I would absolutely insure that this has been addressed prior to even considering staying here.Overall, this is a really lovely property that has been well maintained. The location is a little out of the way, but it was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle but still near enough to get to things quickly. The communication was definitely lacking. The host chalked it up to issues with the VRBO system and that may be the case.
