“The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction. The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach. Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you.”

“Delightful boutique hotel on a nice and quiet beach. So nice to see the sunrise in the morning and the fishermen setting out to get their daily catch. The staff is friendly and service-minded often working quietly in the background to make sure you’re taken care of. The food was surprisingly good. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the view from the balcony. The only downside was that the beds were a bit on the hard side - and very squeaky :)”

Eneste minus var badeværelset, som var uden afskærmet brusekabine og bestemt ikke lever op til standarden for et godt hotel. Hotellet har god beliggenhed helt ned til havet, og stranden er dejlig og umiddelbart mindre turistet end andre steder på Zanzibar. ”
