"The Dhow Palace was a great place to stay, convenient to everything that Stone Town has to offer. The staff is amazing, very friendly and super helpful in organizing taxis and tours, and recommending activities as needed. The breakfast was also plentiful with varying options on a daily basis, unlike some places that offer the same exact things everyday. Housekeeping also came to the rooms on a daily basis to spray against mosquitos as a safety precaution. This was out first time in Zanzibar and we were there as a group for a couple of days. We wanted to experience different types of accomodations, and also had booked an Airbnb for a part of our stay,
a decision we immediately regretted once we saw both places. Even after checking out, we still ended going back to Dhow Palace almost on a daily basis for one reason or another for the remainder of our stay in Zanzibar. Highly recommend. "

"Beautiful property, excellent food, staff was friendly, room was in great shape with excellent amenities (had one villa and one regular hotel room), pools very good (we were in "Level" area), food service, internet good (not great, but most video streaming worked sufficiently), only drawback was no on-site water sports: beware of the guys on the beach as they were not very reliable on jet skiing and others. Referral for Kibwana Divers (office 20 minutes away) was excellent. "

"I loved my stay at the Zanzibar Palace Hotel. It was a intimate hotel so you feel included and seen. Everyone of the staff I met (Lulu and Abdul) were wonderful. Any thing I needed , they provided a solution. Daniella is very hands on owner, which is great. Professional and knowledgable. She makes accommodations easy. I was a solo female traveler from the US so it was a great experience. My room was great. Design is a mix of vintage with a mixture of African, Persian, and Arabic influence. Lovely overall. "

"I had a wonderful stay and felt very safe, welcomed and taken care of by staff and management. The property is beautiful with authentic Tanzania architecture, intricate craftsmanship details and exotic decor while providing all the modern amenities and fun of a great all-inclusive resort / Italian Club. Plenty of bottled drinking water, nice bar drinks and wonderful food at the main restaurant. The property is gorgeous with meticulously maintained tropical gardens leading to the wonderful huge pool and exotic beach with plenty of comfortable loungers. The rooms are beautifully decorated and reflect authentic interior while having everything one needs for rest and relaxation. Special thanks to Philippo in management for accommodating my late arrival and to Omar for the great sign off. Wonderful live music by very talented Alessio performing Italian and English hits nightly. The entertainment team was so hard working around the clock and very attentive. Great shows!
