It is at the end of a long driveway, surrounded by trees and foliage. This a studio - style setup: there is one large room with a sleeping area (queen bed), living area with a fireplace, kitchen, and bathroom. There is also a small deck and patio. The cottage has WiFi, but no cell phone service or land line. Additionally, there is no photo of one wall, which contains a sofa, a small chest-of-drawers, and an end table. There is a small closet with room to hang a few things. And there was a patio umbrella (not pictured). Don't expect to use the internet (pack your maps) or be able to watch the water from the cabin. Do expect to be comfortable and rested and in a great location to explore the area. Water access (wading/kayak put in) is available, downhill at end of the driveway. Greenbriar bike trail is on the opposite side of water, so a short drive is needed to access. Marlington had all the necessities we required. Grill is charcoal (charcoal provided). It was close to the Greenbriar River Trail and we spent a lot of our time on this bike trail. The parking entry point is really close at Buckeye. The cabin was clean and we felt very comfortable there. Carter and Maureen were great hosts! They both went beyond the call of duty to help us with our car trouble. We are very grateful for their kindness. We recommend Watoga State Park where we saw a black bear loping through the woods. And also Beartown State park, so unusually cool! We also rode up to Cass Scenic Railroad State Park and spent time at the Company Store. There is just so much to see and explore in this area, by bicycle or by car.
