"My stay at the Moore House Inn was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, every aspect of the experience was seamless and welcoming. The inn itself is a remarkable piece of history, beautifully preserved while still providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. Walking through the property felt like stepping back in time, with each room and detail telling part of a larger story. What truly set this experience apart was the staff. They were attentive, engaged, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest felt at home. Their hospitality, knowledge of the property’s history, and willingness to assist with anything needed made a lasting impression. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, looking for a peaceful getaway, or simply searching for a unique lodging experience, the Moore House Inn delivers on every level. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future."

"It was wonderful if you’re looking for a budget motel with mice and a room that smells like pet urine , this is your place. Your ambience will include patched walls and ceiling and a nice finish of torn carpet. To be fair, we asked if they were pet friendly and they did accommodate us. The staff was apologetic and very helpful, I don’t think there any other options in this area, so it is what it is."

"Wonderful location. The cabin was immaculate warm and inviting. So cozy and well maintained. We brought our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The view from the deck was amazing and the night sky on the clear nights absolutely breathtaking. Short drive to Green Bank and the Cass Railroad. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation in the peaceful hills of West Virginia. The owner Jim quickly responded to our emails and the one phone call. So important to us. Thank you for this special retreat. We recommend this location and we hopefully will return next spring."

"This was our fifth visit to the spa. Fourth stay at the lodge with a group of five ladies. We enjoy the convenience of walking from the lodge to the spa and Garden Cafe. I personally can recommend Ashley. She is a total professional and I always feel great after my massage and cascade foot soak. We would like to see more mirrors in the lodge. We always bring bottled water to drink. Nice kitchen with complimentary teas and coffees. Overall a great place to get away for a few days and a short drive to Lewisburg!"

The Cozy Cabin: Mountain Escape at Snowshoe, WV - Brand New!

"There are no security lights or motion lights, we had to use our flashlights and car lights in order to see. There are no road signs or numbers on the house and we didn't know I'd we were at the right place. It needs a street sign with the name of the cabin or the house number. The place needs to be sprayed for ants and there was clothing left under one of the beds and in the washing machine. The lighting and no numbers on the house are a problem. It's pitch black and we arrived around 930 or 10 pm. Vrbo gave us the wrong code to get in so we had to contact the owner and he was fantastic, very nice"
