Very clean room and well located. We just got that heat wave of 104 degrees like 40 Celsius and the ac was programmed to 25 so it wasn’t cooling enough. Seems like in Europe they not prepared to this type of weather and they control the thermostat and set it up to 25 Celsius it’s like 77 degrees which it’s not cooling enough after being outside in those high temperatures!

The room was very clean, though a bit small; the staff members were amazingly helpful; breakfast was excellent - both plentiful and tasty.

I was booked in for 5 nights at Hotel Rum. When I went to the room, the lock to the door was damaged (but at least functional), which for the cost was a very poor look. When I checked out the room, the blankets on the bed were dirty, with stains that looked disturbing. I requested that they be replaced by clean ones and the young lady at reception was helpful in arranging for that, However, when that had occurred, hair was then left in the bed by whoever serviced the room. I immediately left and had to find suitable accomodation elsewhere in Budapest.

Great hotel for a visit. Close to everything including grocery store. Nice to have a kitchenette. The only issue I had was the bed. Very old and used mattress which needs to be changed out as soon as possible.
