"For the money it is a good location. Not far from Paraa where it is 3-4 times more this hotel ot is a bargain. With little improvement could be a super deal. Even so it is a good deal. They have good restaurant with good fish or chicken and chips. Ladies serving and hotel ladies are providing good service. Management helped with check in and our needs in rooms. Some things in the rooms needs to be corrected but for the money I will stay anytime there again. This was my second time staying at the...

"the person hat is putting this hotel listing has no involvement in the hotel. he is just an intermediary, the hotel owner does not know him and does not even know that they are listed on expedia. that person has over priced the hotel rate and collects the money and just pays a fraction to the hotel. When I saw the hotel and did not want to stay in it, the hotel management had no problem to refund me the money but that person has refused to refund the fee that he collected from expedia, even...

"The property gives you high luxury in the middle of nature. But what makes the place exceptional is the services given by staff. They treat you like VIP from arrival to check out. I have done a lot of travel and hotels but this was so far my best experience. It brings two worlds together and it’s absolutely have to visit place if you are looking for safari lodges"

Paraa

"I really enjoyed the hippos grazing at night. The staff also built us a bonfire the first night we were there and we were able to eat around it. The biggest problem was they said we were not expected ( even though my name was clearly on their guest list) and that they did not know we had a 6 year old with us. They were very confused at first and did not know how to handle the situation. One man was very unfriendly."

"The Paara Safari Ladge is great choice when visiting Murcheson Falls National Park...easily one of the best in this remote area. But be careful when you book your room to make sure that it has air conditioning if that is important to you. (It's very hot at Paara). Even though I had a copy of my booking with Hotels.com that clearly stated that I hadn't paid for an air conditioned room, it required 30 minutes of arguing and a call to hotels.com before they would give me the room I had paid for....

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Bulisa?
The best time to go to Bulisa is during the dry seasons, which run from December to February and June to August. These periods offer the most pleasant weather conditions for exploring the region.

During the dry months, rainfall is minimal, and temperatures are generally warm and comfortable. This makes it ideal for outdoor activities like wildlife viewing in nearby Murchison Falls National Park, where animals congregate around water sources, making them easier to spot. Couples looking for a safari experience will find these months superb for game drives and boat trips along the Nile.

Travelers interested in cultural experiences will also find the dry seasons suitable. Local markets and community activities are more accessible without the disruption of heavy rains.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Bulisa.
How much is the nightly rate at a Bulisa hotel?
Prices for hotels in Bulisa often vary, but you can find a great deal from $64 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
