Good room, clean but our room smelled of strong curry spices - bothered us all night. Friendly staff. Unless you’re into boating, it’s pretty boring and remote. Great sunset views though

Clean room. Nice amenities. The mattress was a bit lumpy but everything else was great. Restaurant is only open Thursday thru Saturday-lunch and dinner

There was 6 adults in three rooms, we tried for ground floors due to health issues and was told, Expedia only books 2nd floor rooms. Then shortly after check in we noticed that the TV in one of the rooms had a glitch, so we informed the Front Desk, no let’s change that room or fix the problem, it was can you deal with it? It’s really frustrating so then we was offered a 15% discount on that room, by Linze . Which of course they recanted as soon as Expedia called them. Dirty to go boxes on deck, stain on bed… and Nothing from hotel. We will not be back to this Hotel… On another note the staff member Mary made our stay more enjoyable.

For Bullfrog this is my preferred hotel. New premium bedding and super comfortable mattresses means a better night's sleep for me. The alternative hotel up the road is outside the park and requires a boat inspection if you plan on taking your vessel with you. Meanwhile, you can just roll from the ramp to Defiance in under 3 minutes and charge your trolling battery from the outlets located in the parking lot. The dining room offers great views of Bullfrog Bay and features a deck for sunset libations. Staff was incredibly helpful and polite and the rooms, although slightly smaller than the competition, have been recently updated. Aramark doesn't usually receive much praise but in this case it is certainly due.

room was clean. bed was comfortable. the staff was very friendly and helpful. this was our first time there, and hope to visit again someday. was a great experience. the views are beautiful. just sad to see how low the lake is.
