Due to cleaning and maintenance, hot tubs may not be up to temperature on the first night of your stay.
In order to maintain the highest possible hygienic standard, the hot tub will be emptied mid-day every Thursday throughout the winter months - later in the summer or by mutual consent with our guests.
It will then be cleaned and refilled with fresh water. After which it will then take 10 - 12 hours to reach the required temperature.
Fresh chemicals will then be added and will require a little time to circulate.
Therefore the hot tub will not be available for use during this period. Thursdays from mid-day - Friday 10.00am.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but hope you understand that health and safety are of paramount importance.

A fantastic stay and would recommend to others
Stayed over Easter 2023 and had a fantastic time at Beck Cottage. Well equipped with everything needed for a short stay, with great communication beforehand from the owners. Beds were comfy and TVs in the two bedrooms were a bonus. Price was very good considering the facilities and the location. The hot tub in the garden was great as were the scones, clotted cream, jam and Prosecco waiting on arrival. Guide provided in the house covered most things, although could do with some information on the using the heating as the house did get cold. The age of the house means that there are some quite low doors, a low ceiling as you go up the staircase and care needed to avoid tripping on door ledges - so not suitable for those with limited mobility or very tall people! Also worth noting the checkout time is 9am (not the 10am mentioned on Vrbo), not an issue as was communicated to us well in advance.

Lovely house
We had a lovely stay at Beck Cottage. Scones, clotted cream and jam were waiting for us on our arrival, along with a bottle of Prosecco. The house was really clean throughout and is decorated beautifully. We were a group of 5 adults wanting a relaxing hen weekend - the hot tub and lovely garden with hammocks was just what we needed. I'd definitely recommend the property for a short break. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating with great communication. Thank you!
