"Super location, however, property is quite dated and needs some attention. On entering the property there was a strong smell of drains and mustiness. The toilet and shower drains smelt throughout our stay, this did decrease with use of disinfectant etc but soon returned. On reading previous reviews I have since seen this was noted as a problem in 2024 so obviously does need addressing. There was also no laundry facility as advertised on website. "The Rambler’s Rest was close to many attractions that we wanted to see(Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, the Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-rede and the Bonamargy Friary). Our room had a kitchenette, so we did grocery shopping in the village of Bushmills. We were able to walk to the Dunseverick Falls. It was very quiet and private. Although we do not have pets the property is very pet friendly."
