The cleaning was the major issues when my first instinced walking in are the floors need to be cleaned, wow look at the dirt on the baseboards, and when was the last time this place was dusted they certainly missed the cobwebs in the stair well. There is a problem: after 10 minutes with a paper towel and kitchen cleaner (we brought), and the broom we found in the closet, the place felt better. Still, there were dead bugs in the bathroom light fixtures, but that's just kinda normal. I would have cleaned them out for someone staying at my place, but I get it's not necessarily mission critical. Otherwise, the linens were clean, the house was tidy but needed minor maintenance (the cabinet door was broken), the location was lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised that the beach restoration project was far enough along to have a small section of beach within walking distance open. Very conveniently located in a peaceful neighborhood, and the property management folks were charming to work with; I'd definitely consider staying again, but I'd bring my Swiffer duster.
