Nestled at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, The Take a Hike Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo portrays the captivating landscape that awaits you in the Wichita Mountains where you can find miles and miles of trails waiting to be discovered.
The Cabin has a King Size Bed and roll in tiled shower with Handicap rails. Barn wood, knotty pine, and corrugated tin are used throughout the spacious cabin. Dark stained concrete floors and tin ceilings really add a rustic yet elegant vibe.
Enjoy the sunset from the long covered front porch while lounging in the wooden rockers or gather around the outdoor pavilion complete with picnic table and charcoal grill.
When it gets dark, roast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit or relax under the stars in the back of our vintage star gazing truck, located just a short walk from the cabin.
Both kids and adults will love tossing horseshoes and playing old fashion board games. Don't forget to snap some forever memories at our themed photo ops. This is a Handicap Accessible Cabin.
Because we get to host lots of hunters and fishermen, we wanted to provide these guests extra convenience by providing an outdoor game cleaning station. Located between our bunkhouse and cabins.
The Lazy Buffalo has 8 individually themed Cabins. The Take a Hike Cabin is the 5th door from the left and under the blue roof.
