This is a comfortable, friendly place to stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good - definitely worth trying! The gym is well-equipped and the staff there were, again, friendly and helpful. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast. It was the standard buffet style, which is fine. However, the fresh fruit offerings were meagre - a few slices of melon the first morning, nothing but the tinned fruit offerings the next. I would have liked if the eggs were cooked fresh / to order, rather than just the scrambled or fried eggs that were provided on the hot plate. Overall, however, I would definitely recommend Raheen Woods Hotel and will, I’m sure book to stay there again when I’m visiting family in the area.
