"It was in the centre of town, nice room with tea and coffee, clean and tidy, a good breakfast with cereal and a hot breakfast, plus the staff were very nice indeed."

Luxurious Country Farmhouse, Idyllic setting with Fabulous Mountain views.
10/10 Excellent
"Totally great experience! We stayed 10 nights. Grocery store close by. We cooked a few nights. Our host, Christine, gave us great info of the area & places to visit. The Farmhouse was beautiful & comfy inside & out. We WILL BE BACK! Going to recommend this place to everyone traveling to Ireland!"
"The room was towards the back of the hotel, as requested, to reduce noise. Really well proportioned with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Good bathroom, nice hot shower. Room, and hotel in general, all super clean. Staff were excellent throughout! "
"Beautiful room and hotel, very secure and comfortable with lots of takeaways and coffee shops adjacent, the breakfast was lovely and the only issue I could name was that it was incredibly warm in the room, however the hotel does provide a Dyson fan which was a great benefit while pointed directly at us but it really didn’t cool the room at all, and while trying to sleep is far too loud. Air con would be a massive bonus on warmer days, but aside from that 5* accommodation and we will 100% return, especially given the standard for the price point. "
"Great stay in this spacious villa, virtually brand new so very clean and well stocked. The owner Justin lives next door and is quickly responsive to any questions or requests - he truly goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are satisfied. We had plenty of space for our family and appreciated being able to walk to anything we needed."
Cahir Castle is a true survivor. Despite siege and bombardment it has endured for centuries, only to stand today as one of Ireland’s largest and best preserved castles. This imposing Anglo-Norman stronghold is a must-see for anyone intrigued by the county’s rich history.
Nestled deep in the County Tipperary countryside, on the western banks of the River Suir and just a little south of the Cahir Park Golf Club, Swiss Cottage is a rural house in every respect. Ireland has ancient stonemasonry in abundance, but it is rare to find such an excellently preserved example of a 19th century cottage as this one in Cahir.
