"We had an absolutely incredible stay at this amazing home on Toland Mountain Ridge within the Big Canoe community! The spectacular views and stunning sunrises made every moment special. As a three-generation family of seven, including our pups, we found the home setup to be absolutely perfect—plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Every bedroom featured an ensuite bathroom, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep for all. The spacious kitchen was a highlight, offering ample space for our whole group to cook and gather together. The large deck provided comfortable lounging with those breathtaking views, and the hot tub was a delightful treat after long days at the Beach Club or pontooning on the lake.Having booked many VRBO homes, I can confidently say this one stands out as the best ever in every way! The Big Canoe location added an extra layer of charm, and the owner was incredibly reachable, welcoming, and helpful, enhancing our overall wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. The bedrooms each had a bathroom, which was a big plus. Plenty of space for everyone. There is an abundance of wildlife. We saw many deer, bears and turkeys. One day a bear actually walked down the back steps, so be cautious! The Bent Tree community has much to offer. The pools and tennis courts are not far from the house. It's a beautiful area. We a wonderful time there."

"Perfect experience for being in the mountains. We saw all kinds or wild life.and great access to the marina. Such much to do and the cabin was the perfect place to stay to have the experience my family was looking for. "

"Very Beautiful and ,spacious well laid out plenty of toys for young children and games for older children. Other activities included Swimming, Tennis, Pickle Ball, was able to see plenty wildlife in the area , we were a family of 18 , we never felt cramped. We would definitely stay again."

"My wife, our 3 children, my elderly mother, our mini schnauzers and I stayed at this mountain home for a week in late June / early July 2025. The home was perfect for us. We enjoyed the home and all the amenities that Big Canoe has to offer. The home was well-stocked, clean, and decorated perfectly. Also the owner was very communicative, responsive and helpful!Highly recommend!"

"It was a relaxing stay and everything was as described. The roads were very steep and curvey but with some concentration and slow driving they were manageable. I would be hesitant to drive them in the dark. Our first night there we were visited by a black bear in the back yard. We admired him from afar and he didn’t seem to mind us. We also saw several deer. Communication with the owner/ management company was great. Any questions were answered very quickly. I would definitely book again. "

" I visisted Bent Tree with a couple of friends for a girls weekend. We loved getting explore the area and the cabin was perfect! I am not sure I have ever stayed at a VRBO were the owner has been so responsive and wanting to make sure our every need was met. We were comfortable in the cabin and they had everything you can think of to make our stay excellent. The view is beautiful and I bet even more beautiful in the winter when the trees are bare. We did a small hike and enjoyed visiting Jasper and trying all the restaurants. It was a great stay and we would love to come back anytime in the future."

"The 7 of us were extremely pleased with how spacious and welcoming this property was. Although we didn’t utilize the game rooms it met all of our expectations. The only recommendation we had was to provide more bath towels, the females like to use a separate towel for our hair, lol. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home.I"

"We had a great time in Big Canoe. Plenty to do for everyone. The property was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. The hot tub and sauna were perfect after long days of exploring, hiking, fishing, and boating. The Mountain views from this property are spectacular! The home is lovely and well cared for. "We had a fantastic weekend staying at this property with our family! The house was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From a highchair and playpen for the little one to board games and activities for the older kids, the hosts truly thought of everything to accommodate families.The play fort in the yard was a huge hit with the kids, while the adults loved relaxing in the hot tub and gathering around the campfire in the evenings. It was the perfect blend of fun and relaxation for all ages.We really appreciated the attention to detail and how easy it was to settle in and feel at home. The peaceful setting and all the thoughtful touches made this a memorable getaway—we’d definitely recommend it and would love to return!"

"The house was very well appointed. Large, comfortable furniture. Beautiful view from the very top of the mountain. (Bring your truck or 4WD vehicle for sure). Deck area is large and perfect for cool, early relaxing mornings. Not too far from the town of Jasper which has some great places to eat (don’t miss Sidelines Cafe). Overall a great value for the money and well worth a visit. PRO TIP: Make sure you input the 799 Steve Tate Parkway address into your GPS vs the actual house address. This will get you to the correct gate and into the subdivision. "

"From the moment we arrived till we departed, everything was spectacular, the views, the home, the cleanliness. We saw several deer and turkeys and watched a beautiful sunrise each morning from the back deck while enjoying a warm cozy fire. Highly recommend visiting this home and the best part was it’s only an hour from Atlanta! We will be back! "

We loved the security of having one way in and out and a gate♥️ We went to Elijah for the Apple festival, Amicacola State Park for hiking, Burt’s Pumpkin patch, and Fort Mountain State Park! The cabin was a great center to everything we wanted to do!"
