Our host was very gracious and accommodating, and responded quickly to our questions. The location was perfect for us, all of the tours we did picked up within walking distance. We walked to Cairns Central, grocery stores, laundry, etc. The only thing missing from the room was a microwave or toaster. The coffee maker, kettle, and mini fridge were nice but it limited how much we could eat in the room, not having a microwave. Nicely fitted out and plenty of space for one or two people. Card access is nice so you don’t need to carry an awkward key. Pool, bbq and other facilities are great and well-maintained. The photo of the harbour view is accurate and we enjoyed the location. The only thing we didn't like is that check-in has to be by meeting someone rather than self-check-in (ie. a key safe with a code sent on the day) which is what we mostly find with accommodation on Stayz and is so much less stressful than having to know your exact ETA. There was also an incredibly loud machine being used in the room next to us (pulling up floor tiles apparently) for 2 of our 4 days there. That was difficult for us to have a relaxing time and we wish there could have been warning - but we assume that Cozie Homes didn't know about this either or they would have told us (and so therefore not a reflection on the host.)
