I stayed at Trujillo, Peru location and was extremely disappointed. This hotel is listed as a 4‑star property on Expedia, but my experience was nowhere near that standard. Room 325 had a completely non‑functional shower and a shower head covered in calcium buildup. After reporting this to the manager, Fernando, on 05/29, I was offered a maintenance visit, something that should never be necessary for a room already assigned to a paying guest. I was then moved to Room 321, which had low water pressure, more calcium buildup, and a leaking shower head. To make matters worse, there was a roach in the bathroom. By this point it was 10 PM after a long trip, and I was exhausted. A proper room should have been provided from the start. Additionally, upon arrival I was told the hotel had no change for 100 soles, and there is no AC in the hallways or common areas. None of this reflects a 4‑star hotel. The customer service and room conditions were unacceptable. I only stayed because it was late and for one night. The manager tried to make it up the next day after I sent an email to their corporate office, but too little too late.
