“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming studio near Donner Lake, and I can't recommend it enough! The price was incredibly affordable, especially considering the stunning views that greeted us each morning. The picturesque scenery surrounding the lake made our stay even more enjoyable. “The studio was clean and comfy. There is lake front access with two docks to fish from or swim from. Boat,kyak rentals right next door. I would recommend it. Studio is big enough for two adults and one child. Anyone else would be too much.”
