Good hotel in a solid location in Sliema. Really easy to go to Valletta and a lot of restaurants around the area. Staff were always happy to help and very friendly throughout our stay. Only downside was the breakfast. The room was solid for the price, the air conditioning was great and there was enough space. Only downside of the room was there not being a safe. Overall, a great hotel!!

A hotel that does everything needed but doesn’t excel at any one thing. For the price this is what you are okay with. Near the water with some nice places to lay out, pools are large, rooms were nice and spacious with a nice size balcony. Food is the miss overall (breakfast is very basic - options are very limited), even lunch options are pretty limited to a few sandwiches and pizzas. Dinner was better. If you are traveling around the island all day - you the location is a bit tough since you have to drive through a lot of extra small roads that could be avoided by with a hotel in the middle of island. That said continently close to other hot spots nearby like the gozo ferry, boats to comino, etc

I was very underwhelmed and disappointed by my stay. The Expedia listing describes this as a luxurious, relaxing hotel with Mediterranean sea views, but in reality, there are no sea views - just city views. The pool areas are small, packed, and accompanied by loud music, making it difficult to relax. One night, we were awakened at 4:00 a.m. when the fire alarm sounded three times, requiring guests to evacuate. Although we later learned it was a technical issue, there was never a formal apology or acknowledgment from hotel management which I found strange and unacceptable. The air conditioning in my room did not work properly which was especially challenging since the temps outside were over 100 degrees each day. My shower also lacked hot water for two days. While the front desk staff were courteous and tried to help, they appeared limited in what they could do. I also made several attempts to contact the hotel manager and never received a response after sending an email. This lack of communication, combined with the other issues above, made this a disappointing stay and below the level of hospitality I have come to expect from Hyatt Hotels.
