Everything about this hotel was great! A very historic Boutique Hotel that takes you back in time! Each room has a theme of its own which is unique to the period. The owner was very friendly and made sure that I had everything that I needed to make my stay excellent! If you're ever in that area or even doing business in the Madison Wisconsin area you may consider taking an extra half hour to drive to this hotel and stay there. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all as a matter of fact I would be surprised if you didn't like it. I've been in hotels halfway around the world and I must say that next time I'm back in that area I will be staying here!

I really can’t find anything bad about this room, it was clean bed was comfortable. The building was as very quiet, it was over 90 degrees outside so the air conditioning and ice machine were being perks.

Beautiful antique decor and spacious room. Rom could have used one more lamp behind the couch and the overhead light on a dinner would have been nice. Not knowing there were no windows in the unit would have been helpful, that was a bit of a shock. Overall a good experience, would go back but not stay in the Lake Riply Room 102.

Room was beautiful, staff were wonderful. If you like historic this is the place for you. the owners have done a great job renovating the building it is very quaint. i wouldn't really recommend it in very cold weather, the floors are hardwood and there is tile on the floor in the bathroom, it never did warm up. but overall very nice place

Owner checked in before I checked in which was very nice. Room was spotless. The Inn was quiet during our visit. Living area had ice machine and water ‘machine’ which was convenient. I very much appreciated their efforts to be environmentally conscious!

Slept in

Great host great accommodations. Our room was in the middle so it had no windows, which was perfect because it allowed us to do sleep in!
