Very nice property with super customer service. I booked for a guest visiting who could not stay with me and felt really good about the decision. The rate was excellent for the quality of property.

Check in is 4pm. Coming from Rockland, I arrived to the property around 1:45pm. No one was in the hotel, one car was parked in their lot, plus mine; not even a front desk employee to let them know I’m parking my car and walking downtown. Odd. I return right at 4pm to check in, and other than the receptionist, I still saw nobody staying in the inn, only the same car in their parking lot (other than mine). So, when I introduced myself to the front desk employee, I was shocked when she told me my room wasn’t ready and that I’d have to wait at least 10 minutes… That is when I decided Whitehall has zero hospitality and no love, so I decided to call a better inn and luckily they gave me a room. I think Whitehall is a failed property - it seems they used to have a restaurant, and their depressing bar is not even stocked with a single bottle of anything - and I do not recommend staying there. A Ghost inn, no life to it, and best avoided!

A beautiful old property in a beautiful town, though on a busy main road and a fair walk out of town. Puzzlingly loud music in the vast but interestingly furnished entrance lobby. The quirky "tapas" self serve breakfast dishes will not be to the taste of anyone seeking an old-school inn breakfast.

The service, food and location of this property were great. The major problems with this property were, the highway noise is intolerable, all day all night, construction trucks, speeding traffic and loud cars constantly. Another problem, no storage or counter space in the bathroom. This property is beautiful but it’s like living in a house with 65 of your noisiest family members, slamming doors, stomping on the floor above your head. Literally, we didn’t sleep for days. Will never stay here again, EVER.

The room was very small. Limited storage. The bathroom was very small with a pedestal sink and limited space to put our things. Sink didn’t drain well. Small tv due to lack of space. They have an on-site bar but you have to find someone to staff it. Outside areas were great. Lots of seating and a couple of fire pits. Breakfast was pretty good. You can walk to town but it is about 2/3 mile and a little hilly.
