"There was so much awesomeness about this rental, its hard to figure out where to start. First, I received an information sheet that answered many of my VRBO style questions. Location of the nearest boat ramp, bait store, grocery store, available guides, etc. Also listed were the included amenities inside the house, Ice machine in the boat house. Huge fish cleaning table. Lots of exterior lighting. House freshly remodeled, so everything is new. I liked the coffee area is apart from the cooking, preparing area. Whoever is making breakfast isn't dodging sleepyheads looking for their morning cup. The food pantry was in the laundry room, I believe that kept the kitchen better organized. Pots and pans in kitchen are brand new and good quality. House is located on a canal with 2 boat slips. The purpose of our trip was fishing, and we kept the boats in the slip the whole time, didn't have to trailer them at night. Lake Calcasieu is an awesome fishing location. "
