Lodges in Hackberry

"For a resort, the amenities were meh. The pool and hottub areas looked beautiful....but they closed at 8pm on weekends and 6pm on weekdays. I mean, reallly? Not everyone came there to gamble or play golf. And I don't know if it was a problem everywhere, but the toilet in our "deluxe" room didn't flush well - not enough water came through to even push the paper down from the sides. On the plus side, the bed was decently comfortable, and there was a good selection of restaurants, though they also seemed to close early. Also, everywhere in the hotel was freezing."

"Front desk was phenomenal & staff was very friendly. The breakfast was really good and the pool was nice. The pool area and front lobby/breakfast area was clean and up to date. The rooms need updating badly/ there was peeling paint in the tub and I did not feel like the surfaces in the room were cleaned. There was mold and years of dust all along the bathroom door. As a former Holiday inn express employee I expected more from the cleanliness of the rooms. I don’t think I would’ve wanted to stay longer than my 2 night stay. "

"Parking was bad very hard to get out in morning cars and trucks park behind by alley way to small areas to park "

"The room was just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Close to the lake and launching area for the boat. Randy was very quick to respond to questions before arrival. Would definitely stay here again."

"The first day was horrific, stale bread, 3 to 5 pieces of unit packaged pastries total. No eggs nor any protein, nothing hot, over diluted juices and ONE apple for fruit. Coffee was just not fresh, just warm, no cream nor creamer. Second day, similar refreshed breads, did have scrambled eggs/sausages/diced potato. No fruit, same warm coffee. "
