“This was the worst experience I’ve had renting an RV.. we’ve rented them from other sites and they’ve always been at RV parks or campgrounds unless it states otherwise in the listing.. no where did it say where this was located.. my stomach dropped instantly as my daughter and I pulled up to a man standing outside the home where the RV is parked. I didn’t get any check in instructions. The RV looked nice but had a weird smell but to be fair we only stayed for about 10 minutes before my gut said……

The pathway to the apartment after parking is uneven with cobblestone stepping stones and a wooden deck with uneven steps going down to the apartment. It wasn’t a problem for us, but anyone with mobility issues should be aware of this for accessibility. The bed was comfortable as was the couch. It……

“Conditions were not as expected. Property is old and needs much improvement on the exterior and interior. Guest bathroom water did not get hot. Host was informed of many details to include pest. One TV had to be plugged out and back in each time for it to power on. Stains left on bedding in the maste suite including the pillow...this property could be enjoyable with attention to detail and upgrades ”

“Host was good with communication and was generous with pet policy (we had 3 cats). In unexpectedly cold weather for the region, he offered space heaters and alternatives if power went out. House was a good size for our needs and easy to find. There was some loud music next door several evenings, but neighbors nodded and said hello if we passed them.”

“Not as described: This property does not sleep eight. Our family of five stayed at this property for three nights during our tour of UGA. The hostess was welcoming and communicative. The property was quiet. However, it was not well-appointed—it lacked utensils (just five spoons) dishes (no glass bowls, a few worn plastic ones), no pot holders, no baking sheet.The tub was cracked, the shower faucet was broken (we had to call to have this fixed as there were five of us using one shower). “This house in Winder was spotless. The host was great in responding with info quickly. We had no problems at all. The furniture and beds are comfortable. We were only there for one night and it was perfect for our family members to visit and close to the event we were attending. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again if in the area. Everyone in our party enjoyed the stay and commented how nice the house is.”
