“Nice place”

“We left this stay very disappointed, with serious safety concerns as a family with children. During our stay, a low window pane at child height broke when accidentally knocked and shattered into large, sharp, jagged pieces. It did not appear to be safety glass and, in my view, posed a real risk of serious injury to a child. This was especially concerning in a family holiday property, which also appeared to lack basic visible safety features despite having a wood burner, including no smoke alarms……

“Chalet was easy to access from the train station and had the best view in town looking up the valley. Was warm and comfortable after days travelling around the mountains. Sara was great checking in that we were ok with accessing the apartment. We had a wonderful stay. ”

“We loved this charming, beautiful chalet. The views are great, the spaces are well set up and comfortable. We loved the picnic table on the patio for lunch and the sun porch for breakfast. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well-stocked with pans and utensils. The painted woodwork was delightful. The location just outside of Grindelwald was perfect for hiking and other adventures. Cascia, our host, was friendly and responsive. We would return!”

“My family of five stayed here for six days and loved the property and its surroundings. Each morning and evening, we could hear cow bells from the surrounding farms, and the view from the back porch over the hills was stunning. Habkern is a more rural option than others many tourists go to but it was a great base for us to use because we went to many different areas around the Jungfrau region. Although a bus comes to the town and right by the home, we had a car and feel like that was really……

“It was lovely stay, however not suitable for family with small children due to types of bed which built on wooden pallets and also no ventilation in toilets, and no microwave in the property. ”
