Weekend getaways in Bern

Staff was extremely helpful. Food was excellent. Rooms were large.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. It was our first time visiting Switzerland and the hospitality of the hosts was incredible.

This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! We liked the "kitchen" though there wasn't an oven to do pizza. (go to the 8th floor common room and use that one) The common room was never busy while we were there so if you want a comfortable spot to browse the internet or watch a game on your laptop that is a good spot. If there are two of you, pulling the other half of the bed out every evening was a bit of a chore but not a deal breaker. First I must say this was not my first choice. I usually book the 'day of' when I arrive in a city, but this time, there was nothing reasonably priced so I found this place. I was at first a bit disappointed that I was not in the city center BUT it turns out it was a 4 stop bus ride which was about 6 minutes to get to the main train station. Charming hotel in the center of the Old City.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was cozy, clean, secure and well priced, and the location was excellent! Would highly recommend!

The hotel is located right in the middle of the old town, with easy access to restaurants, cellar bars, bear park, and the river. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with a Nespresso maker, small refrigerator, and a TV with many international channels. Hotel was walking distance to the city and shopping. For those not inclined to walk the hotel provided tram tickets for the duration of the stay! The hotel also had a great continental breakfast and the staff was EXCELLENT! Very friendly, accommodating and very informative- also spoke excellent English which was a bonus! Planning on staying there again on my next trip to Bern!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great and really good. Public transportation was across the street and very close to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the city and the Bern Expo. The staff were all friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely when we are visiting Bern we will stay here again. This hotel has a wonderful little garden with flowers right in front of it. A tram and bus station is right opposite of the hotels main entrance door. You will get a free daily city tour ticket from hotel staff as long as you stay there. Breakfast and dinner was absolutely superb. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will always return to the same place while visiting Bern. Bring a good friend with you, because the TV- channels offered are really mad.

Very nice hotel not far from the old section of Bern. Rooms modern and clean. 15 minutes from train station.

Regarding the price that I paied the hotel was very good. It is not far from centre and the breakfast was perfect. I will go there again if i want yo visit there again in the future.

Personal was very friendly and help full. Although, the hotel was far from old town, the public transportation was very close and reliable. I would stay here again.
